This tiny handcrafted cicada wing is a lovely natural adornment in your ear stack! I crafted this cicada wing from one I collected near Dallas, TX after the end of its life cycle.
Wing measures approximately 1/2"L x 3/8"W

The bronze wing is made with 100% natural un-lacquered bronze and therefore will naturally patina over time adding to the character of your piece. Polished finish.
Sterling silver wing is 100% .925 sterling silver with a darkene/oxidized finish.
Each piece is molded, cut and crafted by hand using metal clay from a mold I made from a real cicada wing and then is kiln fired and finished to this beautiful and unique solid metal piece of jewelry.
As with any handmade item, variations are to be expected and enjoyed!
