This beautiful aspen leaf necklace was cast from a natural aspen leaf I collected during the fall while the leaves were changing in Kenosha Pass, Colorado.
The necklace is adjustable at 18"L - 20"L with a spring ring clasp.
Sterling silver option is 100% .925 sterling silver leaf, chain and spring ring clasp with an oxidized (darkened) finish
Bronze option is a bronze leaf on a 14K gold filled chain and spring ring clasp. You can select between a polished finish or a matte (kiln patina) finish on the leaf.
Each aspen leaf is crafted by hand using metal clay pressed into the mold, hand cut, dried and sanded then kiln fired and finished to this beautiful and unique solid metal piece of jewelry. Variations are to be expected and enjoyed!
*14K gold-filled is an actual layer of 14 carat gold - pressure bonded onto a base metal. It is not gold-plate - it has more gold than gold-plating, will not flake off and is far more valuable and tarnish resistant.
*Bronze is composed of 90% copper and 10% tin and is nickel free.
